This book is so sweet! My niece LOVED it. The story is simple but packed with such an important lesson about compassion. Max and Charlotte’s journey really grabbed her attention, and she was so excited to talk about what it means to be kind and make tough choices. It’s one of those books that makes reading together feel extra special. Honestly, I think it’s a perfect way to teach kids about empathy in a way that really sticks with them.

This book was such a joy to read! The illustrations are so bright, colorful, and visually pleasing to the eye. The lesson of compassion is very well thought out in this book. It is a real scenario that can happen, especially for children who love dogs. Both main characters are such sweet kids and can be an inspiration for other kids! Despite the children wanting to badly keep the dog, they were selfless and chose to return the dog to the owner because they knew it was the right thing to do. It is educational, and fun! I’d highly recommend purchasing if you have children.

Max and Charlotte Learn Compassion is a great little book that teaches compassion. Max and Charlotte find a lost dog, treat him very well, and return him to his owner the next day. Because of their compassion, they are rewarded with a new puppy. Age-appropriate, cute illustrations, and text that is simple to read, this book for kids has a great learning message. Recommended.

I bought this book for my niece who is 7 years old. She is a great reader and I wanted her to start reading books that have a good lesson to learn from. This book fits the bill! I was excited to learn that she loved the book and wanted another installment. She finished it quickly and told me that she asked her mom for a dog because of it. This book is great for kids who love animals and can relate to the main characters. My niece loved Charlotte’s character. I would recommend this book to any parent to buy for their child and possibly any teacher who could keep it in their classroom. It would be great for a library as well!

This book was a great read. Being a teacher, I would definitely recommend it for young readers. The author did a great job writing it. I was inspired when I read it, with the lessons it has for young readers. The lessons are easy for them to understand. Omar Rezec (author) put in a lot of research and thought in this book for young readers.

I really enjoyed the book, and couldn’t put it down until I was done. I hope the author writes more of these books for young readers. I would use it with the kids I tutor if given the chance. I would also recommend this book to other teachers given the chance.

I give this book a 5-star rating. I thought it was so full of interesting things to teach kids. I hope to hear more from the author.

This book is a must-read as it teaches essential lessons in empathy, compassion, and altruism, which are crucial for living in society. Written in the form of vibrant, colorful comics, the book captivates children, encouraging them to fully engage with the story. It helps them understand that doing the right thing often involves sacrifice, but these actions bring deep emotional rewards. The accessible and sensitive narrative also fosters meaningful conversations between parents and children about love, difficult choices, and the positive impact of kindness on the world.

This book touched my heart in so many ways. It is more than just a children’s story, it’s a meaningful lesson about love, empathy, and understanding others’ feelings. The illustrations are charming, and the storytelling is easy for kids to follow but impactful. My daughter connected with the characters, and I was moved by how the story teaches that sometimes showing kindness means making hard decisions. A wonderful read for families!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Max & Charlotte Learn Compassion: Max & Charlotte Series Book 1 but this book warmed my heart. Any parents out there with children should pick this up for them because it tells a lovely story about the bond kids can have with a pet which in this case is a dog. If you are ever thinking about introducing your kids to a pet and want them to be responsible for taking care of it, and doing the right thing if the pet doesn’t belong to them, this book is a great way to help them get started. The story is a joy to read, the siblings are lovely characters and I recommend this book to parents.

This book is a tender and heartwarming story that has become a favorite in our home. The message of empathy and selflessness is delivered in a way that even young children can understand. My 6-year-old loved the characters and the simple yet profound lesson about doing the right thing, even when it’s difficult. It opened up great conversations about kindness and making thoughtful choices.

This book teaches a lesson about caring for an animal and doing the right thing. It was a really cute read and the pictures were nice also. My daughter read it with me and enjoyed it, she’s 9. Can’t wait to read more with my daughter.

Max and Charlotte find a lost dog named Buster in their yard. They have fun playing with him and even give him a bath. The next morning, they take Buster to a vet to see if he has an owner. When they learn that he does, they feel sad but know it’s the right thing to return him. Their dad then surprises them with a new dog from the shelter, and they name her Buster the Second, excited to start a new adventure together.

Kids who read this book will learn so much of what compassion is all about. Especially for children who are dog lovers. Other than compassion, I love the concepts of empathy and making decisions no matter how difficult they may be. I can’t see what is more to come from this great author
